Pianist Jason Lyle Black returns to Gilbert for a #LightTheWorld Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 20! Back by popular demand, Black will present his 2017 Christmas show, “A Merry Little Christmas,” featuring favorites like “O Holy Night,” “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” And, of course, he’ll take live requests and delight with his trademark backwards piano shtick. Dubbed “the most unique concert pianist you’ve ever seen,” Black combines familiar music, comedy, and improv to leave audiences laughing and crying in the same night. As a composer, Black took the #1 and #2 spots on the iTunes and Billboard music charts with his original album Piano Preludes, and his music videos have reached more than 30 million people around the world. Called “Incredible” by TIME magazine; “Spot-on” by Huffington Post; and “Unbelievable!” by Ellen Degeneres, Black presents a one-of-a-kind piano experience you’ll never forget! Suggested for ages 8 and up.
Jason will also be giving a free workshop on Tuesday evening, December 19, at the East Valley School of Music in Chandler:
