Fitness is an evolutionary process that commands full attention of the whole person and requires consistent, healthy behaviors that lead to having a vibrant and robust life.
Erin Christine, an ISSA certified fitness trainer, works from a holistic approach to help her clients reach their goals.
Fitness Evolution training is for *women only*. Erin focuses on fitness as a way to build confidence, self esteem, and to help clients become aware of how their weight and energy levels are connected to emotional and mental ties in the body. Nutritional imbalances may also be a factor. When those ties are severed, the weight disappears and the energy returns.
Erin's own fitness journey began in 2003 when she began running to support her best friend. One half marathon later in January 2004, she found herself in a gym lifting weights for the very first time. Marathon #2 came January 2005. Erin was hooked! As she watched her body transform, she became enamored by the human form, the muscles, the way they move and stretch. She just couldn't get enough! It was during this time that she became aware of her own negative mental and emotional ties, the largest of which were a binge eating disorder and a sugar addiction. That coupled with low self esteem and deep feelings of unworthiness screamed at her that something wasn't right. The outside of her body was the picture of health, but the inside was a mess! In July 2011, Erin competed in the Arizona Open Bodybuilding competition for women's figure. This was a dream come true for her! Ever since she had set foot in the gym, she'd had visions of making it to the stage. She was in the best shape of her life...only on the outside though. After the show, the eating disorder reared its ugliness once again and this time it hit hard! Erin gained 25 lbs in 6 weeks! She was in a constant state of anxiety and self loathing, always eating, eating, eating. Erin had no energy, no desire to exercise, and she walked around with a chronic belly ache and crappy attitude. She fell into a deep depression. It was here that something deep inside of her body began to shift. Ever so slowly she began to realize that it was her constant negative self talk and comparing herself to others that was creating the turmoil inside of her. She decided then to simply love herself fat! And that was the miracle that changed her life completely!
You must know how special you are and how worthy you are of looking and feeling your best! If you don't love yourself fat, you will never love yourself fit! Give yourself permission to be your best self. When you do this, you set yourself free!
